Measures are Being Taken to Return the Captured Armenian Citizen to Armenia
On July 8, 2020, between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Narak Sardarayan, a 1990-born citizen of Armenia and resident of the village of Nerk’in Khndzoresk in the Syunik province, went missing while grazing his livestock in the pastures of the Gorayk community, bordering the Artsakh Republic Autonomous Region.
It has been established that Sardarayan lost his way while searching for his lost animals and inadvertently crossed into the territory of the Artsakh Republic, where he was captured.
N. Sardarayan is described as a patriotic, calm, and diligent individual who has never had issues with local self-government or law enforcement bodies. He has a family and underage children, whose care he is responsible for.
Currently, measures are being undertaken to facilitate the return of Narak Sardarayan to Armenia.
