Emergency Services Vehicle Shelled While Assisting Wounded Citizen in Chinar

Today in Chinar, an enemy drone targeted and shelled a vehicle of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia while they were attempting to provide assistance to an injured citizen. This information was shared by Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan during a briefing in Ijevan.

According to the governor, the civil defense and sheltering efforts today were particularly significant in the context of the last 30 years. “In the second half of the day, we were implementing sheltering from drones, which was a novelty, as in other cases the enemy was visible, and there were places to take shelter. However, in this instance, the entire region was affected. Essentially, we managed to ensure total sheltering – not only for people but also for vehicles. Today, we also enhanced the conditions of shelters with blankets, water, and lanterns,” said Chobanyan.
