Dear Tavush Residents, Please Exercise Extreme Caution and Take Shelter

Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan has addressed the residents of the region: "Dear Tavush residents, please exercise extreme caution, take shelter in shelters and protective areas. An attempt by the adversary to infiltrate has been foiled, and having incurred losses, the Azerbaijani side has been pushed back,” Chobanyan noted.

It is recalled that around 03:40 last night, the Armenian Armed Forces noticed enemy movement. Transitioning to circular defense, Armenian units thwarted the adversary's infiltration attempt. After intense fighting, the enemy was pushed back with losses.

Subsequently, at 05:20, Azerbaijani units began shelling the villages of Aygepar and Movses using mortars and D-30 howitzers. The shelling is still ongoing.
