Tension in Yeghignut: Police Block Main Road

Yeghignut resident Smbat Mkrtchyan has reported via a Facebook live stream that around 200 police officers invaded the community around 3:00 AM and blocked the main road. "Leaving the war situation at the border, they came to block the Yeghignut community," wrote S. Mkrtchyan.

Currently, villagers have blocked the village mayor's building, stating that they will not allow the former mayor, who has been reinstated by a court ruling, to enter the building. A scuffle has started between the police and the villagers.
