The "Military Insurance" foundation has released a statement regarding the compensation for fallen soldiers or those who became disabled while defending Armenia in recent days. The foundation notes that compensation will be provided to the following categories of servicemen and their family members:

  • Fallen servicemen or those who acquired first-degree disability: 82 million drams (approximately $170,000), of which 10 million drams (approximately $20,000) is a one-time payment, while the remaining amount will be paid in equal monthly installments over 20 years.
  • Fallen or first-degree disabled junior officers: 70 million drams (approximately $145,000), comprised of a 10 million drams one-time payment and equal monthly payments over 20 years.
  • Fallen or first-degree disabled junior officers and conscripts: 58 million drams (approximately $120,000), with a 10 million drams one-time payment and the rest paid out monthly over 20 years.
  • Second-degree disabled officers: 53 million drams (approximately $110,000), including a one-time payment of 5 million drams, with the remainder distributed in monthly installments over 20 years.
  • Second-degree disabled junior officers: 41 million drams (approximately $85,000), with a one-time payment of 5 million drams and the rest paid in equal monthly payments over 20 years.
  • Second-degree disabled junior officers and conscripts: 29 million drams ($60,000), with 5 million drams as a one-time payment and equal monthly payments over 20 years.
