Compensation for Soldiers Fallen or Disabled in Recent Days: Shushan Stepanyan

Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, shared on her Facebook page regarding compensations for soldiers who have been killed or disabled in recent days.
According to the announcement from the Soldiers' Insurance Fund, compensations will be provided to the soldiers who were killed or became disabled while defending Armenia, along with their family members, as follows:
- Officers killed or who acquired first-degree disability: 82 million AMD (approximately $170,000), of which 10 million AMD (around $20,000) is a one-time payment, and the remainder paid monthly over a period of 20 years.
- Soldiers killed or who acquired first-degree disability: 70 million AMD (approximately $145,000), with 10 million AMD as a one-time payment, and the remaining amount paid monthly over 20 years.
- Junior soldiers and conscripts killed or who acquired first-degree disability: 58 million AMD (approximately $120,000), consisting of 10 million AMD as a one-time payment, with the balance paid monthly over 20 years.
- Officers with second-degree disability: 53 million AMD (approximately $110,000), where 5 million AMD is a one-time payment, and the balance paid monthly over 20 years.
- Soldiers with second-degree disability: 41 million AMD (approximately $85,000), with 5 million AMD as a one-time payment, and the remainder paid monthly over 20 years.
- Junior soldiers and conscripts with second-degree disability: 29 million AMD (approximately $60,000), consisting of 5 million AMD as a one-time payment, with the rest paid monthly over 20 years.
