Prime Minister Pashinyan Meets with Leadership of Defense Ministry and Armed Forces
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, led by Minister Davit Tonoyan and Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan.
The senior command of the Armed Forces presented the Prime Minister with the operational situation created as a result of the military actions unleashed by the adversary over the past two days along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Tavush direction, as well as the punitive measures being undertaken by the Armenian forces to deter the adversary’s actions.
It was emphasized that the situation is fully under the control of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the possible developments of the created situation and the adequate actions of the Armed Forces. Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia have once again proven that one cannot talk to us from a position of strength.
