According to the World Bank, from 1990 to 2019, the population of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan increased by 2.3 million, 4 million, and 13 million, respectively. Meanwhile, Ukraine's population decreased by 7.5 million, and Russia's by 3.6 million, as reported by Настоящее Время.
It is noteworthy that Armenia's name is also included in this list. During this period, the population of Armenia decreased by 16%.
