All Conflicts Must Be Resolved Exclusively Through Peaceful Means: Statement from Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Republic of Belarus expresses deep concern over the ongoing escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This is stated in a declaration by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by BELTA.

"All conflicts must be resolved exclusively through peaceful means, through negotiations and other internationally recognized tools," the statement reads. "The use of force can only exacerbate the situation. We urge the parties to maintain the ceasefire regime and avoid any actions that could lead to increased tensions and casualties."

Belarus hopes that Baku and Yerevan will restore direct dialogue and demonstrate the wisdom and prudence characteristic of both peoples, recognizing their responsibility for stability in the entire region. "We also expect that all friendly countries of Azerbaijan and Armenia will use their authority to resolve the situation, including within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group," the statement concludes.
