10 Children and 5 Staff Members Test Positive for Coronavirus at Gyumri's Fridtjof Nansen Children's Shelter No. 2
Coronaviruses cases have been confirmed at the Fridtjof Nansen Children's Shelter No. 2 in Gyumri just one hour ago. The test results have been received, revealing that 10 children and 5 staff members have tested positive for the virus.
This information was provided to Aurora News by Sona Martirosyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia. “One of the employees had a mild fever, which prompted immediate testing yesterday. A total of 21 children and staff were tested. Out of those, 10 children and 5 staff members tested positive,” said the official.
Currently, all those affected are reportedly feeling well, according to Sona Martirosyan. She also noted that the shelter is home to 80 children, but as of now, only 21 are staying there while the others have been moved to biological families since the announcement of the quarantine regime.
