Actual Targeting of Peaceful Population, Fortunately No Casualties Among Civilians: Artzrun Hovhannisyan

As of today, Armenian settlements have come under fire from the Azerbaijani armed forces, specifically the communities of Chinari, Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, and Paravakar in the Tavush province. The city of Berd has also been subjected to shelling, stated Artzrun Hovhannisyan, head of the Command and Staff Faculty at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, during a press briefing.

“In fact, the peaceful population is being targeted; fortunately, we have no casualties among civilians,” he said, adding that the Armenian armed forces have silenced the adversary in all possible ways.

According to Hovhannisyan, the only damage among the peaceful population has been material. He also reported that there have been no evacuations from any Armenian settlements among the civilian population.
