24-Hour Suspensions at Spayka Office and Deus Ex Company

Health and Labor Inspection authorities have conducted temporary suspension actions at companies found circumventing decisions made by the operational headquarters. This information was reported by the Government of Armenia.

In particular, the office of Spayka LLC, the company Deus Ex engaged in the online sale of rapid coronavirus tests, as well as several others including the Ejmiadzin Water Supply Company and the Charentsavan Instrument Engineering Plant, have been suspended for 24 hours. This applies to more than thirty business operators in both the capital and regional areas, with regional suspensions predominating in recent days.

Simultaneously, inspections have continued today, particularly intensified in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan. Health and Labor Inspection specialists state that violations of anti-epidemic regulations are still being recorded, although not to the previous extent. Some business operators have also been found to have violations and shortcomings today.

Inspection employees have emphasized several important points to business operators: using 60-80% alcohol-based disinfectant in sanitation processes, wearing masks correctly, measuring employee temperatures as required, and accurately completing temperature and disinfection logbooks. The Health and Labor Inspection reminds that the decisions of the operational headquarters take effect from the moment of publication, however, the suspension of business activity is considered effective from the moment of notification.
