Mehriban Aliyeva's Response to Anna Hakobyan's Appeal

The First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, made a post on her Instagram page where she stated:

"The people of Azerbaijan will never accept occupation. Our land, our struggle for the homeland is sacred. Our cause is just, and God is with us. The enemy has received a counterattack and will always do so. We must become and will become stronger, even more united. I express my deep sorrow and respect to the mothers and fathers of the martyrs. In these difficult days, the people of Azerbaijan are with you. May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs. I wish a speedy recovery to our wounded soldiers. May Allah protect Azerbaijan and our people."

It is important to note that earlier, the First Lady of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, had called for a ceasefire and a move towards peace.
