Lydian's Hired Guards Prepare to Evacuate Amulsar Protectors, Armenian Environmental Front Raises Alarm

Representatives of the security service hired by Lydian Armenia, equipped with appropriate technology, are preparing to head to the resistance points at Amulsar to remove the shelters of the Amulsar protectors. This is reported by the Armenian Environmental Front (AEF), a civil initiative.

“These actions are completely illegal; once again, Lydian, along with its new owners, is inciting provocations. Just a few months ago, in response to our inquiry, the Police confirmed that the shelters of the Amulsar protectors are located outside Lydian's territory, as documented in judicial papers between the Police and Lydian, and even in court documents related to Lydian in Canada. What is happening currently is nothing but a violent and illegal interference in the exercise of the right to peaceful assembly. Such actions are also provocations and are fraught with attempts by the new security company to incite violence (we have already confirmed that they are capable of this),” AEF stated in a Facebook post.
