Intense Thunderstorms Expected, Strong Winds Possible. Avoid Outdoor Areas - Ministry of Emergency Situations

WARNING Due to the infiltration of a cyclone from the Black Sea, from July 11-13, particularly in the evening hours, intense thunderstorms are expected in various regions of the republic. Hail and strong winds, with gusts reaching up to 25-30 m/s, may occur during thunderstorms. Citizens are advised to avoid outdoor areas during thunderstorms.

Throughout the republic, on the afternoon of July 11, in most regions on July 13, and overnight and after noon in certain areas on July 12 and July 14-16, brief rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated, with wind intensification of 25-30 m/s during thunderstorms. Hail is also expected in some locations.

The wind direction will be north-west at 3-8 m/s. The temperature will decrease by 2-4 degrees on July 11 and will gradually rise by 3-5 degrees thereafter.
