Azerbaijani Media Disseminates Another Misinformation: Artsakh Defense Ministry

The Azerbaijani armiya.az has disseminated another piece of misinformation regarding extraordinary incidents with fatalities in the Artsakh Defense Army. This information was released by the press service of the Artsakh Republic's Ministry of Defense.

The statement reads as follows: ‘In Azerbaijani media, particularly on the armiya.az website, which has published fabricated information about extraordinary incidents resulting in fatalities in the Armenian armed forces and specifically in the Artsakh Defense Army since its inception, on July 11, it disseminated yet another misinformation. According to this, on July 2, an unknown reason led to the death of a serviceman in the ‘1st Battalion’ stationed in Artsakh, and it was later revealed that he was murdered by a fellow serviceman due to personal enmity.’

The Ministry of Defense of the Artsakh Republic informs that this information does not correspond to reality and calls on domestic media not to pay attention to publications from the aforementioned Azerbaijani propaganda center, which regularly disseminates misinformation about the defense army. When reporting on events involving the army, they should rely solely on the official news feed from the Artsakh Ministry of Defense's press service.
