Thanks to this kind person and his colleagues, the demining program in Artsakh will continue: Marukyan
The leader of the parliamentary group 'Enlightened Armenia', Edmon Marukyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'Thanks to this kind person and his colleagues, the relevant committee of the U.S. House of Representatives approved the bill for the 'Fiscal Year 2021' (FY21) State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs which proposes funding for the USAID Humanitarian Demining Program in Armenia. This funding will allow the demining operations that began in Artsakh in previous years to continue. We hope that the project will be accepted in the House in the same form. We highly appreciate the efforts of the Armenian Embassy in Washington, the efforts of U.S. House member Frank Pallone, and the leadership of the Armenian National Committee, as well as Representatives Brad Sherman (D-CA) and TJ Cox (D-CA), and all those members who consistently work to support the continued assistance for the demining program in Artsakh.'
