Recovered COVID-19 Patients in Moscow Encouraged to Become Donors
In Moscow, 1007 patients recovered from COVID-19 in a single day, reported Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova. The total number of recoveries has reached 163,093.
Doctors are encouraging individuals who have recovered from the virus to become blood donors. Any citizen aged 18-55 without chronic illnesses can donate blood. If the donor’s tests do not reveal the presence of HIV, hepatitis, or other diseases, and sufficient antibodies to coronavirus are present, they are permitted to donate blood.
Additionally, those who have recovered can become social volunteers, assisting other patients in their treatment process.
