ShVTMC Conducts Follow-Up Inspections and Suspensions in Yerevan
Today, on July 9, the Market Surveillance Inspectorate of Armenia conducted ongoing monitoring and follow-up inspections in the auto parts trade fair located in the Erebuni and Shengavit administrative districts of Yerevan.
"During the inspections, no significant violations were detected, and existing deficiencies were promptly corrected on-site. The Inspectorate also initiated a suspension process at one of the booths in the 'Surmalu' shopping center, where thermometers and a thermometer registration book were absent.
The continuous monitoring process for compliance with anti-epidemic safety norms is ongoing throughout the Republic of Armenia. It is reminded that, according to the decision N63 of the Governor dated May 3, the Market Surveillance Inspectorate continues to carry out regular inspections in shopping centers, trade fairs, construction shops, and retail points for liquid fuel, compressed natural gas, or liquefied petroleum gas.
The presence of special closed bins for masks, notification sheets regarding mandatory mask-wearing, markings for social distancing, disinfectant liquids, as well as thermometers and thermometer registration books are being checked," stated the announcement from the Market Surveillance Inspectorate.
