If I were him, I would present myself to Armenia's law enforcement: Alen Simonyan on Mikayel Minasyan

Mikayel Minasyan should focus on the criminal cases attributed to him, rather than making assumptions about the work of 89 parliamentarians. This was stated today, on July 9, by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with reporters, in response to the former Armenian ambassador to the Vatican's statement that the 89 parliament members and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will be tried for committing a constitutional coup under the next government.

“I believe that the tales, fantasies, and disillusionments that Mr. Minasyan is experiencing and frequently broadcasting do not require commentary from me or many others this often. I understand that Mr. Minasyan still holds some influence in the media space, but at a time when the entire media landscape was dominated by Mikayel Minasyan and his father-in-law, Serzh Sargsyan, it did not serve them. Now, it is even less interesting to provide serious commentary related to various nonsensical claims,” Simonyan stated.

“Nonetheless, he is currently wanted, and as a notorious figure, if I were in his position, I would present myself to Armenia's law enforcement. However, I believe he will not do such a thing,” Alen Simonyan added.
