76 Patients Under Treatment for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital
As of July 9 at 11:30 AM, 76 residents of Shirak province are receiving treatment for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital. This was reported by the Shirak regional administration.
Since March 1, a total of 5,492 samples have been collected in healthcare institutions and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Shirak. From May 12 to July 8, a total of 4,138 samples were tested in Gyumri, with 41 new cases of coronavirus confirmed on July 8.
Currently, 1,028 citizens in the province are under home self-isolation, with 277 having tested positive but exhibiting asymptomatic cases, under monitoring by primary healthcare services.
A total of 334 residents of Shirak have recovered from the virus and have been discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile, 45 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 24 recorded deaths.
