When will 'Enlightened Armenia' join the Prosperous Armenia initiative to appeal to the Constitutional Court?

The newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" reports: We asked Edmon Marukyan if they will join the initiative of Prosperous Armenia to appeal to the Constitutional Court on July 8. The Enlightened Armenia Party did not join the initiative regarding the constitutional amendments but promised to join after the Constitutional Court session scheduled for July 7 regarding the Robert Kocharyan case.

“We have said that we will join after the session on that case,” Marukyan stated. However, there is a three-month period to appeal to the Constitutional Court, and if the session on Kocharyan’s case is not held by that time, what will happen? “If the case is not examined before the end of the three-month period, we will be forced to appeal, but I don’t think they won’t examine it,” he added.

It is important to note that yesterday's session at the Constitutional Court did not take place due to a lack of quorum, as Hrayr Tovmassyan and Arevik Petrosyan are on vacation, and the powers of three judges have been terminated based on constitutional amendments adopted by the government.
