Roads in Armenia Are Passable; Lars Open Only for Freight Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are passable. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepanstminnda-Lars road is open only for freight transportation.

According to the information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight shipments.
