First Time in Constitutional Court's History, Session Cancelled Due to Lack of Quorum
The newspaper "Haykakan Jirair" reports that yesterday, four judges attended a session of the Constitutional Court that did not have a quorum, while only three judges participated in the session concerning Kocharian. The judges present were Ashot Khachatryan, Arman Dilyan, and Arayik Tunyans. Vahe Grigoryan was not permitted to participate as he represented the heirs of the victims of March 1. In other sessions, all four of them attended, but the secretary of the session was called and recorded that there was no quorum.
"For the first time in the history of the Constitutional Court, a session has been canceled due to a lack of quorum. The next session is scheduled for July 14, and the following one on August 25," said our source at the Constitutional Court. Will they take place? "It's hard to say; based on the speed factor of these authorities, it cannot be ruled out."
