Azerbaijanis Publish Photos of Armenian Passports and Send to a Credit Organization, Media Expert Says

Azerbaijanis have published a large number of photos of Armenian passports, which are believed to have been sent to a credit organization. This was stated today, July 8, in a conversation with NEWS.am by media expert Samvel Martirosyan.

“An Azerbaijani hacker page, which we have known for a long time, has become active in the last month. They published data of coronavirus patients. Now that team has published a large number of photos of passports, which I assume have been sent to some credit organization. Then they began to photograph documents from the army and send them, where it is evident that they were taken by hand,” said Samvel Martirosyan.

The media expert noted that most likely, all leaks have been sent from personal email addresses. “This means that people are simply not keeping the information properly; they are sending it to each other. This indicates that there is an unorganized exchange of information,” he added.

Martirosyan emphasized that such a situation with leaks has existed for years. “The problem is that they have also become more active. Previously they were just hacking email addresses, posting the list online for their enjoyment, but now they have started reading that information and are pleased with the treasures that are in people's emails,” he concluded.
