Neutron Provides $170,000 Support to Armenian Armed Forces for Coronavirus Prevention
The Neutron scientific-production unit, led by Council President Davit Galstyan, has provided $170,000 in support to the Armenian Armed Forces to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
In an interview with 168.am, the spokesperson for Neutron Scientific Production Company, Shushan Avagyan, stated that the assistance includes diagnostic laboratory materials, tests, protective masks, and supplies necessary for the operation of the PCR laboratory.
Details of the support include:
- Laboratory materials for the diagnosis of the novel COVID-19 coronavirus valued at $25,000.
- 12,500 laboratory tests for the novel COVID-19 coronavirus, valued at $66,700.
- 300,000 protective masks (unit price: 60 AMD), valued at $37,500.
- Supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the PCR laboratory, including:
- Computers/laptops for Roto-Gene Q devices
- Uninterrupted power supplies for Roto-Gene Q devices
- 0.2 ml test tubes for Roto-Gene Q devices (1000 per box)
- Eppendorf tubes (1.5 ml) free of DNA and RNA
- Filter tips, 200 μl (96 per box)
- Filter tips, 1000 μl (60 per box)
- Filter tips, 10 μl (96 per box)
- 12 ml non-sterile polystyrene test tubes with screw caps, self-standing
- Automatic dispensers 0.5-10; 20-200; 100-1000 μl (2 units in total, along with 2 stands).
- The last item listed is valued at a total of $39,500.
Additionally, the Neutron scientific-production unit has transferred 950,000 AMD to the fund established to prevent and overcome the coronavirus infection.
