Judge Vahagn Melikyan Has Not Been Summoned by the NSS: NSS Denies Claims

The National Security Service of Armenia considers it necessary to inform that on July 3, 2023, information was published on the news site "Patsinfo" under the title "The NSS has Threatened Judge Vahagn Melikyan," stating that the judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, Vahagn Melikyan, was summoned by the NSS. This information does not correspond to reality, according to the NSS.

The statement from the NSS emphasizes: "The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia once again calls on all media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified news and misinformation that undermine the authority of state institutions in the public eye. At the same time, it reminds that criminal liability is provided by law for actions that hinder the administration of justice and the proceedings."
