Armenian Defense Ministry on Russian Military Base Withdrawal Claims

The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, addressed discussions surrounding the suspension of operations at the Russian military base during an interview with Sputnik Armenia and presented Minister Davit Tonoyan's perspective.

“According to the defense minister's approach, the statements and publications regarding the suspension of the 102nd military base's operations are a result of a lack of morality and geopolitical and military-political ignorance,” she stated.

It should be noted that in recent days, various political and social figures have made statements, and information has circulated on social media and in some media outlets suggesting that Armenia seeks to suspend the operations of the Russian 102nd military base.
