Armen Sarkissian Had a Phone Conversation with Alexander Lukashenko

President Armen Sarkissian had a phone conversation on the evening of July 2 with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. President Sarkissian warmly congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on the occasion of the country's national holiday, the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, celebrated on July 3.

The President of Armenia highly appreciated the developing cooperation and effective collaboration between the two countries in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. He underscored the importance of Belarus' experience in high technologies and several other sectors of the economy.

The presidents exchanged thoughts on future cooperation prospects and the implementation of joint projects. President Sarkissian expressed his gratitude to Alexander Lukashenko for supporting the allocation of land for the construction of an Armenian church in Minsk.

Conveying his congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Belarus' national holiday, President Sarkissian specifically noted, “The Armenian and Belarusian peoples are united by a long-standing bond of friendship, respect, and mutual understanding. I am confident that Armenian-Belarusian multilateral cooperation will continue to successfully develop in both bilateral and multilateral formats for the benefit of our peoples.”

The President of Armenia wished Alexander Lukashenko good health and success, while also wishing peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Belarus.
