93 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital
As of 11:30 AM on July 3, there are 93 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 89 of whom are residents of Shirak Province.
From March 1 until now, a total of 4,760 samples have been taken in healthcare facilities across Shirak Province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Between May 12 and July 2, a total of 3,406 tests were conducted in Gyumri. On July 2, 41 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed.
As of today, 1,071 citizens in the province are under home self-isolation, with 249 of them testing positive and exhibiting asymptomatic cases, monitored by primary healthcare providers.
A total of 281 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from the virus and been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 40 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 21 confirmed fatalities.
