MP Lilit Stepanyan Contracted COVID-19
Member of Parliament Lilit Stepanyan from the "My Step" faction has contracted COVID-19. In an interview with "Armenpress," Stepanyan indicated that she received her test results on June 29.
"I started feeling symptoms on Friday, in the second half of the day. I experienced weakness, had a fever on Friday, muscle aches, and a headache. These symptoms lasted for three days. I only took fever-reducing medication, and I had some difficulty breathing, which prompted me to get tested," said Stepanyan.
The MP noted that she does not know where she contracted the virus. "I have no idea where I got infected. On June 21, Sunday, I was in the town of Hrazdan, visiting about 22 families with special needs children. I spoke with parents to understand what issues they have during this time and what daycare centers are doing. I entered and exited 22 families, I do not have a car, I used taxis, and I went in and out of stores; I am in the National Assembly, so I can't indicate any source of infection," she said.
Lilit Stepanyan added that she is feeling relatively better today. There are also other infected individuals within the "My Step" and "Prosperous Armenia" factions of the National Assembly.
