Important Information for Our Native Residents Living in Central Yerevan: Arman Yeghoyan
Arman Yeghoyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, writes on his Facebook page: "Here is also very important information for our native residents living in the center of Yerevan, in the apartments inherited from their fathers and grandfathers. These are examples of property taxes for apartments in buildings constructed before 1975. Who lives in a 120 sq/m apartment on Abovyan Street and either cannot or does not want to pay the current property tax of 19,414 AMD in 2026, when it will rise to 55,884 AMD? Or who among our residents on Tumanyan Street currently pays 2,344 AMD to the municipal budget annually, and believes that they should pay, but absolutely disagrees with paying 13,945 AMD in 2026? Which of these apartment owners is facing the risk of dispossession? The intellectual is the nerve of society – they must feel the pain first and inform the whole body, rather than raise meaningless noise and spread panic."
