Exemption on Duty-Free Imports of Certain Agricultural and Medical Products to Expire

The State Revenue Committee reports that the deadline for the duty-free importation of certain agricultural and medical products into the Eurasian Economic Union will come to an end. As previously announced by the SRC, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission decision No. 33 dated April 3, 2020, products listed in the exemption ''for domestic consumption'' were accepted and exempted from customs duties when a customs declaration was registered from April 1 to June 30, 2020, inclusive.

The State Revenue Committee reminds that the aforementioned decision will cease to be effective from July 1, 2020, and the applicable customs duty rates will be those in force on the date of registration of the declaration. Meanwhile, the committee informs that the exemption for the duty-free importation of medical products established by decisions No. 21 dated March 16, 2020, and No. 34 dated April 3, 2020, will remain in effect until September 30, 2020.
