The congratulatory message from singer Mehr to Armenia's third president Serge Sargsyan on the occasion of his birthday has become a topic of discussion online.

On his Facebook page, the singer wrote: “Congratulations, Serge Azatovich! Congratulations, legendary political figure, congratulations, hero of Artsakh! I wish you health and Caucasian longevity. I consider you a true leader of the country who, having heard the voice of the people in 2018, transferred power to new political figures without shedding a drop of blood. Today, the revolution that the people have carried out resembles a blanket that everyone wants to pull over themselves. One day, the blanket will rip, leaving only scraps behind, but it will be too late by then.

During this time, we will lose a lot. You are an example for me of a person with state-minded thinking, for whom the voice of the people was above everything and everyone. I often hear that you acknowledge mistakes and missteps. I believe this is a trait of a strong man, which the new political figures of New Armenia currently do not possess.
