Large Amount of Heroin Discovered Under Speed Camera on Shiraz Street

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on June 25, officers from the Armenian police's main division for combating illegal drug trafficking, along with the investigative department of the Yerevan city investigative committee, acted on operational information received regarding a large quantity of drugs discovered under a speed camera located about 300-400 meters from the "Renaissance" restaurant complex on Shiraz Street in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, it has been identified that the substance is a type of heroin. The police and the investigative department are currently investigating who placed the mentioned drugs under the speed camera and under what circumstances.
