Grass is Burning and a Dangerous Situation Exists. 10 Firefighting Units on Site, Says Emergency Situations Ministry Spokesman

As reported earlier, a major fire has broken out in the area adjacent to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Currently, 10 firefighting units are working on site. A complexity level BIS 1 alarm has been declared. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Edmon Zargaryan, in an interview with HJ.

"Grass is burning and the situation is dangerous because of the wind, which poses a risk of spreading the fire. Considering the safety of the memorial and the surrounding area, we are concentrating more forces to quickly extinguish the fire to prevent its spread," Zargaryan said.
