Shorja-Vardenis Road Undergoing Reconstruction: Prime Minister Releases New Video

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has published a video related to road construction. It is noted that the Shorja-Vardenis interstate road, which spans 20 kilometers, is undergoing reconstrucion, with work having commenced this month. The contractual value of the project is 1.8 billion drams, and the completion is expected by December 2020.

Last construction work on this road occurred in the 1990s. Additionally, the main road of the Artsvanist community, with a length of 3.3 kilometers and a contractual value of 405 million drams, is also being reconstructed. This road was last repaired in the 1980s.

A subsidized program is also underway to pave the 22nd intercommunity road.
