Court Imposes Lien on the Property of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan's Wife

Georg Grigoryan filed a lawsuit in court on April 3, 2020, seeking to protect his honor and dignity against Mariam Pahlavuni, the wife of the Deputy Prime Minister and Commandant Tigran Avinyan.

This information was reported by Hraparak.am based on its sources. It should be noted that the reason for such a lawsuit stemmed from an article in 'Hraparak', in which Mariam Pahlavuni allegedly referred to Georg Grigoryan by stating, 'Everyone already knows whose dog he is.'

Georg Grigoryan initially demanded an apology from the Commandant on behalf of his wife and, upon not receiving it, he turned to the court. On April 20 of this year, Judge G. Torosyan of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction returned Grigoryan's application due to insufficient accompanying documents. However, after the required documents were completed, the lawsuit was accepted, and the court granted the request of Grigoryan's lawyer to impose a lien on the property belonging to Mariam Pahlavuni in the amount of 1,000,000 AMD.

The date for the court hearing has not yet been set.
