Robert Kocharyan Released on Bail and Back Home

Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan is now back home. According to Sputnik Armenia, he was discharged from the Izmirlian Medical Center in the evening and returned to his residence. The former president's family and friends managed to gather the required 2 billion dram for his bail.

There has not yet been an official announcement regarding Kocharyan's release. It is possible that Kocharyan may still need ongoing treatment and could return to the Izmirlian center again.
