There is No Criminal Case Against David Tonoyan in the RA Investigative Committee

There is currently no criminal case against the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan in the RA Investigative Committee. This was reported by the information and public relations department of the RA Investigative Committee.

"In response to the information circulating in the mass media regarding the case of Tsolak Khachatryan, and considering the undue speculations regarding this case, we inform you that there is no criminal case against the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan in the RA Investigative Committee.

As for the publications in the press regarding the criminal case initiated based on the statement of RA citizen Tsolak Khachatryan, we inform you that on June 15, 2020, a criminal case was initiated in the Fourth Garrison Investigation Division of the Main Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee under Article 353 (deliberate failure to execute a judicial act) of the RA Criminal Code, and Tsolak Khachatryan has been recognized as a victim and has given testimony. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.

We urge media outlets to refrain from disseminating misinformation, as well as from publications aimed at misleading readers," the statement reads.
