544 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of June 17, Armenia has confirmed 544 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 18,033.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 9 citizens have died due to the coronavirus in one day, raising the death toll to 302.

In addition, there have been 3 reported deaths of patients infected with coronavirus from other illnesses in one day. As of June 17, the total number of these cases has reached 99. Overall, 12 people have died in one day, increasing the total number of deaths to 401.

On the positive side, 243 people recovered in one day, with the total number of recoveries reaching 6,814. As of now, there are 10,818 individuals under treatment (an increase of 289 in one day).

In total, 2,044 people were tested in one day, with 87,600 citizens tested overall to date.
