Prosecutor Presented Different Charges to Parliament and Court, Says Gagik Tsarukyan's Defense

During a press conference with journalists, Yerem Sargsyan, the lawyer of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), stated that they have presented several observations to the court. One of the key points is that the charges outlined in the request submitted to the National Assembly significantly differ from those presented to the court.

"This is extremely important. When the Chief Prosecutor presents a request to the National Assembly, it must be justified that, yes, there is a need to deprive the individual of immunity in this case. However, it turns out that consent is obtained with different formulations, while a different charge is submitted to the court," said Yerem Sargsyan.
