Elevators in Apartment Buildings of Hrazdan to Be Renovated
Elevators in apartment buildings in Hrazdan will be renovated. This was announced on the Facebook page of Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan.
“During the meeting of the inter-agency commission established in the government for the allocation of subsidies in 2020, the program presented from the Kotayk region, which has already been approved, includes the renovation of elevators in Hrazdan. More than half of the city’s elevators have exhausted their resources, and some have even lost crucial safety components. Therefore, the quality and timely implementation of this program poses an urgent solution for us,” wrote the governor.
The cost of the elevator renovation and upgrading program is 96,424,300 AMD, of which 50% will be funded by the state, while the remaining portion will be covered by the community. “Through wide-scale subsidy programs, we will sequentially address issues of vital importance for the city and aim to establish a ‘benchmark Kotayk’,” the governor added.
