Criminal Case Initiated Against Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan Based on Complaint by Reserve Officer
A criminal case has been initiated against the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, following a complaint filed by reserve officer Tsolak Khachatryan. This information was provided to Tert.am by Rima Eghanyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to Eghanyan, a criminal case was opened on June 15 in the 4th Garrison Investigation Division of the Military Investigative Main Department of the Investigative Committee under Part 1 of Article 353 of the RA Criminal Code (willful failure to execute a judicial act). Tsolak Khachatryan has been recognized as the victim. At this time, there are no other individuals with different procedural statuses involved in the case. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
