As of June 19, 16 New Coronavirus Cases and 1 Death Confirmed in Gegharkunik Region: Governor

As of June 19, 16 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Gegharkunik region, with an additional 48 individuals recovering, and 1 new death recorded. This was reported by Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan on his Facebook page.

Regarding the death case, it was reported that the patient was a 70-year-old man who had accompanying chronic illnesses.

The confirmed cases are from the following areas in the region: Vardenis, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (town), Khachaghbyur, Areghuni, Lchashen, Verin Getashen, V arser, Vardadzor, Chkalovka, Artsvanist, Nerkin Getashen, Dzoragyugh, Tsovagyugh, Akunk, Lusakunk, Vaghashen, Gavar, Karmirgyugh, Noratus, Jambarak, Sarukhanu, Tsovasar, Lanjaghbyur, Vahan, Lchav, Tsoyinara, Geghovit, Lichq, Getik, Eranos, and Artanish.
