Arthur Davtyan could have said anything, he could have said that the materials were prepared in the deep Middle Ages: Zohrabyan
“If such a thing existed, I would have personally asked many of my European colleagues, including many influential figures of parliaments from certain EU countries, up to the level of presidents, who wanted to express themselves through publications during these days, to refrain at this moment. Only the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe, of which the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) is a member, has made a statement at this time,” said BHK MP Naira Zohrabyan in a conversation with journalists today, addressing the rumors that the BHK has “brought in a guy from abroad.”
Zohrabyan noted that the situation in the country’s fight against the coronavirus is disastrous: “One day someone says you can wear homemade masks, yesterday the Health Minister denies the Prime Minister's statements that in any case homemade masks cannot provide protection. What should the people do now? The people are in confusion.”
Speaking about cooperation with other forces, the MP stated that anything is possible: “If we are cooperating, there must naturally be a memorandum of cooperation, where we will outline our upcoming tactical and strategic steps. All political forces that have been rejected by the people have also been rejected by us.”
To the remark that the authorities claim Tsarukyan was aware of this case, which is why he made a political statement, and that the Prosecutor General mentioned in his speech that the materials were prepared months ago, Zohrabyan said, “Arthur Davtyan could have said anything, he could have said that the materials were prepared in the deep Middle Ages or the 6th century BC.”
When asked whether they would continue to boycott the National Assembly sessions, the MP noted that she could not say and that discussions will still take place.
Speaking about the testimony of the director of 'Yerevan Shin' LLC, Zohrabyan assured that there cannot be any testimony indicating that Gagik Tsarukyan gave a bribe, simply because such a thing did not happen.
