68 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital
As of June 19 at 11:30 AM, 68 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, with 59 of them being residents of the Shirak region.
A total of 225 residents of the Shirak region have recovered from the virus and have been discharged from the hospital. Currently, there are 1,103 citizens in home quarantine in the Shirak region, of whom 216 have tested positive, presenting asymptomatic cases, with monitoring carried out by primary healthcare services.
Moreover, 33 patients have been transferred to the capital. There have been 15 recorded deaths due to the virus.
Since March 1, 3,398 samples have been taken in healthcare facilities in the Shirak region and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to June 18, 2,044 tests were conducted in Gyumri.
