In Turkey, 1429 People Infected with Coronavirus in One Day

On June 17, 19 people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) in Turkey. This was announced by the Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, on his official Twitter page. According to Ermenihaber, he indicated that 1,429 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed out of 52,901 tests conducted in one day.

During the same period, 19 deaths from the virus were recorded, while 1,261 people recovered. According to official data, a total of 154,640 people have recovered from the pandemic so far, with 745 patients currently in intensive care units.

To date, Turkey has reported a total of 182,727 infections and 4,861 deaths. The number of tests conducted has reached 2,773,904.

It is noteworthy that the first confirmed case of coronavirus in Turkey was reported on March 11, and the first death occurred on March 17.
