EPP Reaffirms Donald Tusk's Assessments on Armenia: Ashotyan

The Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, stated on his Facebook page: “While the authorities have fallen into a deep and comprehensive knockout following yesterday's official tweet from EPP President Donald Tusk regarding Armenia's domestic political crisis, they are trying to teach democracy lessons to a prominent European figure amidst absurd distractions.”

“Following an important meeting yesterday, the EPP issued an official statement today reaffirming Donald Tusk's assessments. 'Democracy in Armenia is regressing. We call on the Armenian authorities to refrain from pressures against the opposition. The EPP will continue to support EU-Armenia relations within the framework of the CEPA, demonstrating the political will for its full ratification and implementation.'”
