During the Video Conference, Pashinyan Urges Aliyev to Adopt a Constructive Approach

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in a video conference of the Eastern Partnership Summit. During the conference, the Prime Minister responded to the baseless and fact-distorting statements made by the President of Azerbaijan.

Specifically, Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the ongoing racist policies of the Azerbaijani authorities, citing the example of Ramil Safarov, who murdered Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan with an axe while he was sleeping in Hungary, as a celebrated act in Azerbaijan.

Pashinyan emphasized that the people of Nagorno-Karabakh are resolute in their decision to build their own future and are prepared to protect their security by responding appropriately to any aggression.

Once again, the Prime Minister called on the President of Azerbaijan to adopt a constructive approach and ultimately publicly agree to his previous initiative: any resolution of the Artsakh issue must be acceptable to the people of Artsakh, the people of Armenia, and the people of Azerbaijan.
